My name is Craig Volesky and this is my website. I initially created this website around 2012 as a way to motivate myself to create art more regularly.
I graduated in 2007 from Coe College, studying printmaking, drawing, and digital media. My career has ranged from portrait photography and digital art to machining and education. I currently work full-time as a toolmaker machinist and occasionally teach at a local community college. I strive to combine new techniques and technology with the process-art.
I now reside in Iowa City, where I spend most of my time creating art, gardening, and riding my bicycle. My art practice consists of a home studio, life drawing, and other Iowa City community resources. Generally I’m either working on drawings or printed images.
