Surprisingly, before I started this recent burst of artistic activity I had an earlier start that fizzled. I started working on charcoal drawings in my studio to explore my source material and inform whatever medium I would eventually choose. I think this lasted a couple weeks before getting my tires stuck in some kind of muddy distraction.
